Privacy Policy — Mane Prayer Wheel

Overview

Mane Prayer Wheel (“the app”) is a simple prayer wheel app. We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, location, or any other information that identifies you personally.

The prayer wheel itself runs entirely on your device. Its content is bundled with the app and is not downloaded from, or sent to, any server.

Information we collect

The app uses two Google Firebase services to understand how the app performs. Both collect only technical, non-personal information:

Firebase Analytics — records anonymous usage events, such as the app being opened and the prayer wheel finishing loading. Along with these events, Google may collect standard technical details including your device model, operating system version, language and country setting, and a randomly generated app instance identifier. This identifier is tied to your installation of the app, not to you.

Firebase Crashlytics — if the app crashes or hits an error, it sends a report so we can fix the problem. A report contains the technical details of the failure (the error and where in the code it happened), your device model, operating system version, and the state of the device at the time of the crash.

We do not collect the content of anything you type, we do not track you across other apps or websites, and we do not show advertising.

How we use this information

We use it only to keep the app working: to see which features are used, to diagnose crashes, and to decide what to improve. We do not sell or rent this information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Who processes the data

Google LLC processes this information on our behalf as our service provider, through Firebase. Google’s handling of it is described in Google’s Privacy Policy and the Firebase privacy documentation.

Crash reports are retained by Crashlytics for up to 90 days. Analytics data is retained according to our Firebase settings, up to a maximum of 14 months.

Your choices

You can stop all collection at any time by uninstalling the app. On Android you can also limit ad and analytics identifiers in Settings → Google → Ads, and on iOS the app does not request permission to track you, so no tracking identifier is available to it.

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or a jurisdiction with similar laws, you have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of information relating to you, and to object to its processing. Because we do not collect information that identifies you, we may need you to provide details that let us locate the relevant records. Write to us at the address below and we will respond.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect any information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the effective date above and publish the new version at the same address. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated policy.
